Yay me!

I did it, I registered for a race! The Ntelos 8K in Richmond, VA on November 12th. I'll be there for the weekend anyway, and since that's my second favorite city (next to London, of course) I'll be running my first race in great territory. Also, it means I can have a terrific after-race meal at Mom Siam. *G*

I'm excited and a bit nervous about the possibility of almost 5 miles, since I'm a few days behind in my running schedule. The humidity has been suffocating and that combined with bad food and late nights and long work days persuaded me to repeat Week 4 of the C25K. I know I could do Week 5, but I'd like to be able to enjoy the process, rather than just giving myself one more thing to stress about.
